My work consists of taking the simple elements of our world, and letting them be. They present themselves, they smile, they frown or they look in curiosity. They are objects that lay on the ground, float or fly in the wind.

Positive film, black & white, high quality ink-jet printing, minimal photoshopping. Rolleiflex, Mamiya, Minolta and eventually Leica (when I find the right one). Of course, for commercial work, my digital equipment may be used as well. I specialize in portraiture, travel and art photography as well as occasional freelance work.

Mon approche consiste à immortaliser les éléments simples de notre monde, à saisir leur essence. Personnages ou objets, paysages ou moments prenants, qui s’imposent ou qui passent furtivement.

Armée d’une Rolleiflex, d’une Mamiya, ou d’une Minolta, je traque l’image sous toutes ses formes: portraits, panoramas étrangers ou mises en scènes à caractère artistique. Si je rêve d’une Leica, je cherche toujours celle qui sera mon âme soeur, qui me choisira. Tantôt artiste, tantôt pigiste, j’utilise l’impression haute qualité à jet d’encre et prône un recours minimum au photoshop. Diapositives, noir & blanc et matériel numérique pour fins commerciales sont également disponibles.
